About

Dave is a 24 year old recent graduate of DePaul University (June 2009), who holds a Bachelors of Science in Information Systems degree. He is most tenacious about web community development and human interaction on the Internet (Digital Anthropology, online community management). Since 2003 he has developed and maintained an Internet community website based on a Japanese multi-media project – more information on this in the Portfolio section. From this experience he has learned a lot in regards to how Internet communities interact – and most importantly listening to its users!

Dave also likes to dabble in content management systems (Joomla, WordPress, Drupal, etc) and loves to data mine website statistics to look for trends using Google Analytics, Quantcast and other traffic trending software. He also has experience in setting up and customizing hosted e-commerce solutions (Shopify, Volusion, Homestead Storefront, and other hosted e-commerce software), in addition to setting up merchant accounts for credit card payment processing (Intuit Merchant Services, et al).
